What cookies are
Cookies are small text files placed on your device by the websites you visit. They are widely used to make sites work efficiently, to remember your preferences between visits, to support analytics and to deliver relevant advertising. The cookies we use fall into four categories described below.

Strictly necessary cookies

Functional cookies remember preferences such as language, viewing region, theme choice and saved game shortlists. They make the experience more convenient on return visits but are not strictly required. You can disable these from the cookie preferences without affecting site functionality.
If you disable functional cookies, you may need to reset preferences each time you visit which slightly degrades the experience but does not block any feature.
Analytics cookies
Analytics cookies help us understand how the site is used. They count visits, measure popular pages, track navigation paths and surface technical errors. The data is aggregated and does not identify you personally. Common providers include Google Analytics, Hotjar and Mixpanel.
Analytics cookies can be disabled from the cookie preferences. If you disable them, the site continues to function normally but we lose anonymous insight that helps us improve the experience for future visitors.
Marketing cookies
Marketing cookies are used to deliver advertising that is relevant to your interests on third party sites. They also measure the effectiveness of advertising campaigns. Common providers include Google Ads, Meta Ads and affiliate tracking partners.
Marketing cookies are off by default in regions that require explicit opt in. You can choose to enable them from the cookie banner if you would like more relevant advertising and to support our partners. Disabling them does not stop you seeing advertising, only the relevance.
Managing cookies in your browser
Beyond the cookie banner, you can manage cookies directly in your browser settings. All major browsers including Chrome, Safari, Firefox and Edge let you view, delete and block cookies on a per site basis or globally. The browser help pages have step by step instructions for each version.
Note that disabling cookies entirely may break parts of the site that depend on the strictly necessary category. We recommend using the cookie banner controls instead which are designed to keep the necessary cookies active while letting you opt out of the rest.
Third party cookies
Some pages embed content from third parties such as YouTube videos, social media widgets or affiliate tracking pixels. These third parties may set their own cookies which we do not control. The privacy policies of those third parties apply to the data they collect.
We list the main third party providers we work with above. The full and current list is maintained in our cookie management platform and is visible inside the detailed cookie preferences screen.
Updates to this policy
We may update this cookie policy from time to time as our use of cookies changes or as regulation evolves. The most recent revision date is shown at the top of the policy. Material changes are communicated to active account holders by email at least 14 days before they take effect.
